Question Yahoo on 7250 from blackberry.net

From RIM's website regarding Yahoo IM:

* Device support for Sprint: BlackBerry 7250(TM), BlackBerry 7750(TM) with BlackBerry device software v.4.0.0 or higher.

Would there be any way to get this on the Verizon 7250? I havent seen any posts regarding the update on this. I was curious if others have some of the same models but was released with different vendors, if they were able to get it working on theirs as well?

I swapped sims on a 7520 and yahoo wouldn't work with the new number. It said the device had to be re-registered by downloading yahoo again.

I think when you install it, they do a lookup on your phone number to see what carrier that you're on.

I downloaded it onto my device last night with no problems. I cant sign on though, it keeps telling me to goto www.blackberry/go/yahoo to register my device. I've been reading on the past posts for when RIM came out w/Yahoo on other devices but havent been able to find a solution.
