Question Error : Mailbox couldn't find original message

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I'm getting a problem with a few of our Blackberry's. When they reply to some messages the send operation fails. When opening the email to find the reason it tells me the following error, "Mailbox couldn't find original message, if forwarding or replying please resend the message". When the message is resent it works fine. Now I'm not sure if this is our BES causing the problem or the Blackberry's. (BES 4.0, Blackberry's 4.0)

Regards
Mark

What mail system are you using? Lotus, Exchange, or Groupwise?

Any possibility that someone has their mail set to auto deliver into a personal mail file (such as a PST in Outlook)? That would explain the original being gone when they try to reply.

We are, I'm sorry to say still using Exchange 5.5. I know each user has PST files but none should be set to auto delivery to them. I'm pretty sure that they are set to deliver to the server.
