Default How do I delete a block of text?

I want to forward an email where I delete some of the original text. I tried selecting the text, but cut does not appear anywhere. I tried overtyping, that doesn't seem to work either. I'm using 4.x on a 7510 and 7290

Basically, you can't.. the blackberry doesn't really send the "original" text when reply/forwarding (to save bandwidth). It attaches the "original" text in the server.

You can however, select what you want and copy/paste, then choose "delete original text".
