Default Themes - Observations, New Potential for OTA, etc.

Okay, I'm going to use this thread to ramble on about some stuff.

All themes
Each file that you can download is a rather large (in BB terms) COD file. Too big for OTA. However, each of these files can be opened in WinZip (or something other ZIP utility) and extracted to smaller files (which can all be seen with 'javaloader -usb dir -d').

Vodafone 7100v theme
Files:
net_rim_theme_vodafone_240x260.cod
net_rim_theme_vodafone_240x260-1.cod
... ('etc through')
net_rim_theme_vodafone_240x260-11.cod

*Note: If extracted from top-level COD file, it extracts to the sub-directory "-lt\c$\Program Files\RIMSigningAuthority\lLVGlVWk"

T-Mobile 7100t theme
Files:
net_rim_theme_tmobile_240x260.cod
net_rim_theme_tmobile_240x260-1.cod
...
net_rim_theme_tmobile_240x260-15.cod

O2 7100x theme
Files:
net_rim_theme_o2_240x260.cod
net_rim_theme_o2_240x260-1.cod
...
net_rim_theme_o2_240x260-5.cod

Default List theme
Files:
net_rim_theme_blackberry_240x260.cod
net_rim_theme_blackberry_240x260-1.cod
...
net_rim_theme_blackberry_240x260-10.cod

Each of the files enclosed in the COD file is MUCH smaller (perhaps can be transferred OTA). I'm testing this now, sort of. Anyone else, please feel free to do your own testing.
