Default SMS Help - 09-03-2004, 10:19 PM

I have had my 7230(tmo) for about 9 months now and everything has been working great until now. I can recieve SMS but I can no longer send SMS. I have submitted a trouble ticket to (tmo) engineering department, but I was wondering if any one else had this problem and if they know of any solutions???

I think you are missing a service book that has to do with SMS. Tmobile will proabably send it down, once they answer your support ticket.

If I am not mistaken there is NO servicebook for SMS, sounds more like a missing or corrupt SMSC.

Go to options, SMS and check the number in Service Center. For T-mobile is has to be +12063130004, also make sure it's set to send over GSM.

Hope this helps.
