Default Newbie Question: BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express 4.1 for Microsoft Exchange

Please Login to Remove!

So I downloaded my free version of
BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express 4.1 for Microsoft Exchange. I am a single BB user and a newbiew at all this...

So, what can I do with this?
Is this what I need to get fully wireless synchronization with my outlook and BB (e.g. when I push delete on my handheld it will delete in my inbox in outlook)?

To begin with you need to be running an Exchange server to use this, so unless you are planning to do it at work, hopefully you clear that issue first before you proceed, most of us are not going to run this from a home environment. This is not a plug and play piece of software. Read the entire thread about this and you will find all the info you will need.

Download a copy of the RIM installation guide from the BlackBerry website - this will provide you with all the Admin account permissions you'll need to set and various other bits such as CDO patches and hardware specifications. I think this is probably your best starting point, and ping any questions up on the forum (after using the search button of course)
