Default Removing Bell EVDO patch

Please Login to Remove!

I have a requirement to remove the evdo patch from by Bell 7250. Reason see No BlackBerry service for Bell Mobility EvDO units in Thuder Bay?

So far I have used javaloader to wipe and try load 4.0. The phone works but no data. The problem is that the unit is still trying to use a MIP connection as a result of the flash to EVDO.

Is anyone aware of a way to erase the embeded code so that it can be relaoded. The only solution offered by Bell was to send the unit back, (It works perfectly on Bell EVDO) and have it replaced with a non flashed BB, so that it workes on TB Tell network in the North.

with the flash, it is very unlikely you'll be able to revert the PRL back to 1X from the EVDO. best recommendation would be to do what Bell suggested, get a replacement with a non flashed 7250. gotta love the warranty with Bell!
