Default Can't Save an image on 8700c!!!

Please Login to Remove!

Sorry if this has been address before. I'm new to the blackberry scene and I searched for an answer but couldn't find one.

I have an 8700c blackberry from cingular and I loaded the TELSTRA OS to get the Zen theme.

After doing so I'm unable to save images to my pictures so I can set them as the home page.

The only option I get is to "Save to Message List"

When I do this it puts the image.jpg in my message folder but wont allow me to place it in my pictures or save.

Maybe I'm just missing something here. I had a 7100g and never had a problem but with the 8700c some options are different.

Please if anyone can help!

Why are you starting multiple threads on this one subject? One thread is enough.

I wanted to make sure and post in the right area. It seems that noone has any idea about the problem as well.

Perhaps one of the SuperMods that have the most experience with the 8700c could look into it.

Where are you looking at the image? You need to be looking at the full image to save it. Are you looking at on a web page? If so, select it then click for full image, then try the save.

Yep. I figured it out.

It seems as though the Cingular Browser is a WAP only browser and will not allow saving of larger mp3's or pictures.

I had to contact cingular and give them my PIN and register with the network again to get the Blackberry HTML Browser.

Now all is working as it should.

Thanks to everyone who helped.
