Default Contact/Calendar Software Recommendations

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everybody, I swear I searched on this and couldn't find anything (new to this forum, but I've been on many others before).

I'm looking at contact list/calendar software for my laptop that will easily synch (both ways) via bluetooth to my laptop. I don't need email, but I understand that most of these programs will also include some sort of email client.

I only use web-based email through my company, so I'm not worried about that, but my contacts and appointments are very important to me. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Admin: Feel free to move this into a different forum if this isn't the right place, I didn't want to double-post though.

Thanks in advance for your help, and I prefer responses via this board for the sake of building the knowledge base, but emails and BB Messenger are also welcome.

-Swim

I'm sure I will be corrected if I'm wrong, but I'm reasonably certain there isn't a way to sync a BB via Bluetooth.

Actually you can sync via Bluetooth. The device need to be on OS 4.1.X and the PC running the Destop Manager must be WinXP SP2. Plus you need to be using the Microsoft approved BT device. Do a search for Bluetooth Sync in the Bluetooth forum.

I sync via BT each day!

Outlook would probably be your best bet as far as out-of-box configuration. Desktop manager 4.1 will sync via BT. I'd download the desktop manager (definitely, for backup purposes if nothing else) and then check out what Intellisync will sync to. Act is an option, but a rather expensive one . . .

Default Thanks!

Thanks for the responses everyone, I had a feeling Outlook would be the answer but didn't know what types of experiences people had with it. Peace!
