Default 4.0 and editable Browser Emulation Mode setting

Please Login to Remove!

I upgraded a T-Mo 7230 to the 4.0 handheld software, and I noticed soon thereafter that I am no longer able to change the Browser Emulation Mode setting (Options > Browser Configuration). This setting changes the User Agent string to match those of Netscape, IE, and some other options which I don't remember.

Is this a BES server policy that prevents the modification, or just the 4.0 software teasing me?

All of the other fields are user editable (Content Mode, Show Images, Show Image Placeholders) but not the last one. This is for the browser tied to the MDS, not the service-provider browser.

Thanks!

Default

I'm not able to edit the browser emulation with my Mailstreet MDS.

I think it's a BES server policy, yes. Not 100% sure.
