| Error 543 after OS Upgrade Please Login to Remove! Hey all,
I just tried updating the OS on my BB 7100g from Cingular. After following all prompts for installation, my BB sat on the startup display (white background, rotating hourglass) for over 30 minutes, and finally displayed a circle and slash with a rectangle that has a circle, a square and triangle in it, with 543 below the circle. Any help, on how to get it working again.
I used to know my way around this stuff a few years back, but now that I no longer work for Cingular, I have forgotten alot of BB stuff.
*Let me add some additional info I just ran into. My laptop beeps at me when I plug the BB in, and when I unplug it. The BB Device Manager in the system tray says that the BB is recognized. The Desktop Manager program does not recognize it. I go into Connection Settings and it shows the BB plugged in. I try an detect, and it says make sure it is plugged in, I hit ok, and then it tells me that it finds the device. However after trying to rollback to a previous OS, it will not connect to the device to complete the OS downgrade.
