I just got a BB (8707v). It is connected to an Exchange 2003 server.
When new emails arrive, the do show up on my BB.
When I delete emails on my BB or on my PC, the emails are not deleted on the other. Same when I file the email.
When I select the email app on my BB, I get a list of all emails in all folders. I just want to see the inbox. Now I have to go to view folders, collapse all select inbox and confirm. Only then does it work. Is there an easy way to immediately only get to see the inbox? (In stead off all messages in all mail folders mized together?)

I did turn delete on wireless and PC on (on the BB).

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, Allart!

Double-check your "Hide Filed Messages" and "Hide Sent Messages" settings in Messages --> Options --> General Options. To get a close to the Inbox as possible, these should be set to Yes.

Are you using a BES server? If so, be sure the messages stay in Deleted Items in Outlook for a while. See, if the BES server loses track of the message (i.e., it's deleted, then Deleted Items is emptied), it won't remove the message from the BB device. In addition to this, the email reconciliation may not always be instantaneous. If the server's busy, it may be a little while before the message is removed. To test, send yourself a test msg in Outlook, make sure it appears on the BB, then delete it from Outlook. On your BB device, select Messages --> Reconcile Now. The message should disappear from your device.
