Default BB 7100v Desktop Manager Software

Hi - when reinstalling service pack 3a of the BB 7100v software on XP there is an error message that comes up 16% of the way through the installation, that causes the installation to abort. the servcie pack 3a was downloaded from the BB uk link

it fails on DSSetupInstall.exe - with the message do I have access to that directory

I have sys admin rights, I've also tried to install v4 and the error message occurs around the same point - with the error line Ilsync.hlp

Has anybody had this problem reinstalling Servcie Pack 3a off the blackberry uk site

Vodafone support on this issue are about as useful as a chocolate tea pot!

Any help would be welcomed - as this is so frustrating !!

Is that what you're trying to load or just trying to upgrade the phone internal software?
