Default BWC now not working - 09-09-2004, 10:19 PM

I set up myblackberry.us on my BB tonight, but now for some reason the BWC isnt' pulling my email from my other normal email accounts. if I email to the myblackberry.us account and to my attwireless.blackberry.net accounts I get the mail on my BB, but nothing from my other accounts that I had set up in the BWC.

I have noticed some BWC performance slowdowns. That's another advantage of having BES/MDS hosting separately of the carrier; it is usually less overloaded.

Thanks,

Not sure about ATT and how carriers facilitate BWC but Rogers Wireless has been having BWC problems for 2 days or so now, I'm not receiving any messages to my BB via the BWC

Default BWC with Cingular - 09-14-2004, 07:07 PM

Am with Cingular BWC - messages are delayed anytime between 10 to 45 minutes for both sending and receving. It has been going on for the past two days. Wondering if RIM is doing a major upgrade of their BWC getting ready for users who will upgrade to OS 4.0?

Hope it gets better once OS 4.0 comes out!

For two days now, outbound e-mails from my BWC have been several hours slow at best. Some have yet to make it through. I have been getting messages from BWC on the handheld, though.

Obviously there's a problem over at BWC.

TMobile BWC is not working correctly now as well. All day today I have been getting emails four and five hours after sending them. TMo said that "Blackberry" was working on the solutionf or this right now.

This is rediculous. They should have sent everyone a warning so we know what to expect. I hope they fix it soon. My blackberry is useless until they fix it. I'm getting 3 hour delays, not acceptable for my business. I'm with rogers. The thing is I just signed up, and I thought this was the normal latency. I was outraged, I thought I had wasted all that money getting a blackberry for nothing.

It works fine at night for me, but during the day 3 hours?... that's when i need it the most.

i'm going to give them a couple more days before I bring it back to them and ask for my money back.

Oh man, don't give up! Believe me, this is not normal. I'm not familiar with Nextel, but it sounds like we're all having the same BWC issue. It will be fine soon, these guys are too good. Is anyone else receiving messages that are from something like "netp2lkscod0oq0e298r98989@blackberry.blah,bla h" saying do not reply, this is sent to tell some servers to talk to one another.
