I have a Blackberry 7250 with v4.1.0.303 (Platform 2.2.0.114). When I use the Desktop Manager (v4.1.1.9 dated Feb 2006) Application Loader wizard, I cannot install any new application without either downgrading or removing the BB software. The Desktop Manager only has v4.0.0.204 available with it.

Though I have looked at RIM's and other websites, I cannot find a Desktop Manager to match my BB software version. Does anyone have a DM with updated BB software?

Does anyone know how to bypass the requirement to downgrade if you want to simply install a new application?

What are you trying to install. The version of the DM and handheld software don't have to match. How exactly are you trying to install the software?

I believe you need to download and install (execute the exe)the version of the handheld OS softwa re indicated, otherwise it's trying to revert a previous version that is on the PC. The indications you provided seem to indicate that the software on the BB is later that that on the PC.

Hello all --- I have a quick question pretty please as I have searched everywhere and downloaded until I am blue in the face and cannot get this working---- I need to get me blackberry 7290 sync with my home pc but when I install the sync software it connects but I cannot donwlaod new programs -- and it does not actually sync with my desktop--- it is picking up old files that were loaded into my pc from a previous version I think and I am not sure what I need to do but my blackberry is absolutely useless if I cannot load any software that can be used with it nor can I get it to network remotely with my home pc???? does anyone have any idea what I need to do? I have tried for over a month now can someone PLEASE tell me what I am doing wrong?
