Angry 7250: Problem w/ App Loader

Please Login to Remove!

This is the third Verizon 7250 I've had. The first had the problem I'm experiencing now and the second had a malfunctioning screen. I don't want to get yet another blackberry from verizon so I was hoping someone could help me. (My apologizies if this has already been discussed.) I was trying to install some third party software. I downloaded it successfully, plugged in my blackberry, intelsync did its thing successfully, then i went to application loader. The application loader isn't showing any applications listed. Despite that, I browsed for the file I downloaded, found it and tried to add it, but got denied. The Desktop Manager showed a message saying basically that no programs were found. The Desktop Manager and the blackberry seem to connect find, its the application loader that is bugging out.

Suggestions? Help? Do I need to send this one back too?

Do you have the latest Desktop Manager and latest BlackBerry OS? Are you on a BES?

After downloading the software, did you unzip it? When you use application loader, go to the file containing the unzipped software and you should be able to get it to work.

Close any open BB software on your PC, search for vendor.xml and delete it, then empty the Deleted Items. Now try App Loader

i deleted the vendor.xml file off the computer and still can't load anything on to my blackberry via application loader. i get a message saying that no applications for my blackberry were found despite everything being properly formated. in the box where my blackberry's programs should be listed it says no applications found contact your system administrator.

Is it a corporate handheld with data service through your company or a personal handheld?
