If this has been covered before, I apologize, I searched and did not find, so here goes.

I run the IT of a small company, and we have 13 Blackberry users, all running 8700c. Installed BES 4.1 on a DC, and have it attached to an Exchange 2003 server.

I've got everyone setup in BES, they're all getting email, and everyone is happy.... almost.

Here's the deal.. the guys are insistant on wanting to be able to accept and decline meeting/event requests. I don't know where the breakdown is, but I can't seem to figure out where this is configured.

My devices are set to synchronize the calendar wirelessly...

What are the places I need to be looking, or the steps i need to do to configure.

Please help, use small words... my head hurts already =)

When they receive an appt on their device, they open it (like they would an email) and click the wheel and click Accept.

Is that option not available?

That is an accurate statement. When (and even sometimes if) the meeting request comes in... it looks and feels like a plain email. There are no advanced features, or otherwise any features that say 'accept' etc.

yeah.. your response worries me.. everything I read makes me think this is common place.. yeah.. just hit accept.

yeah well.. heh why wouldn't mine be offering that? what gives here.

I'm currently experiencing the same issue with one of my user's handheld. Apparently a few months ago I came across the same issue, so I reloaded service book - but without success.

Then I backed up everything and nuked it and it worked! But the one I have on hand now, after I nuked it, still no luck.

I reckon when dealing with these BlackBerry, its all about trial-and-error, theres no right or wrong fix, sometimes they just work and sometimes they just don't. It's getting into a routline these days...
