I am trying to figure out how I can sync up my BB and my wife's on the same computer. I am running WinXP and we have two user profiles set up (one for each of us). I've been syncing my data when I login into my profile and have no problems. When I try to run the desktop manager when logged into my wife profile it won't run. I get a quick flash of the desktop manager screen but can't read it quick enough before it vanishes. At first I thought, I had another instance running on under my profile so that was causing it not to run -- but I was not running it on my side nor was it runnning in the background.

Suggestions? Anyone try to do this before?

I don't know what operating system you are using, but try to create two different accounts, 1 for you, and 1 for your wife.

This is what i do with WinXP and I have Desktop manager working for about 8 different people on 1 machine. I should mention that I'm on a Domain though. not sure if that would have an effect or not.

I'm running XP and do have two accounts setup -- but having problems running the desktop manager under my wife's profile (it just doesn't run). I tried reinstalling it and it doesn't want to complete the installation. I just I'm encouraged that it canbe done -- now I need ot figure out how to do it.

did you uninstall it before trying to reinstall ?

That did the trick - just needed to specify that all users had access to the software as one of the installation options and it worked. Thanks for your help.

i do it for my wife and i under the same profile in winxp. i specified in the intellisync options different folders for us to use when syncing
