Default Cingular Update for 8700c

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone have any ideas as to when Cingular will issue a software update for the 8700c? They are still on a version from November 2005 and the other carriers have all updated their software.

Never. Get Telstra or Bharti or Vodaphone, but don't wait for ATT.

I read through all the posts about Telstra Bharti Vodaphone on the 8700c. What I don't want to do is wind up with a doorstop. Has anyone done a review of the 3 versions with the Pros and Cons of each version?

I see some of upgraded to Telstra and had problems and reverted back to Cingular or Bharti. Some like Bharti better than Telstra, some the other way around. Some have problems with the phone after the upgrade others find it better. It's very confusing to say the least!

Is there a post I missed or can anyone sort of sum up the differences, pro & cons?

I have used Bharti, Orange UK and now Telstra. They are all three very similar. I haven't had any any problems with any of them. The only reason I went from bharti to Orange to telstra was because each was newer than the one it replaced. ALL THREE ARE MUCH BETTER THAN CINGULARS!!!

Can you provide some top level details about "How" theirs are better than Cingular's? Maybe like 5-10 bullet items.

Thanks for your time.
