Question BES Price in Asian Countries - 07-28-2006, 02:25 AM

We heard that Price of the BES v 4.0 is US $ 4500

What does u think about that price?
Too much or not?

Who is decide that price? RIM or Our service provider?


Did you ever compare Affrican Elephants and Sri Lankan Elephants?
Where are classic Elephants?

If it's used for data only consider getting them a T-mobile or Cingular with the unlimited data roaming.. Much cheaper!

Depending on the number of devices, you can get a discounted price. I am not sure if geography would effect this, but I wouldn't think it would. I have talked about discounted BES pricing only with various sales BBerry reps, so I'm not sure if the discount was a sales rep or a corporate situation, but I'm sure somebody here will set us straight.

Also depending on your size and needs, you may want to investigate a BES hosting service. An outside company hosts/admins your BES for a monthly price per user. There are a few good ones, some of which can be found in the 'Sponsers' area.
