Hello all and let me start by thanking you in advance for taking the time to read this.

Today I would like to upgrade our BES from 3.6.7 to 4.0. We serve a mere 7 Blackberry 7520 users. I have already checked MDAC and have upgraded MSDE to 2000 Rel A.

All of the 7 BB users' desktop software is already at 4.0 or 4.1.

My only concern at this point is when I upgrade the BES to 4.0, will users the current functionality of these 7 7520s become limited until they are cradled?

I have "important" users with their BB 7520s who are thousands of miles from their computers (cradles) and functionality must not be reduced!

I have not yet upgraded. Bottom line question:

By upgrading the BES from 3.6.7 to 4.0, will that cause BB7520 users to loose email & calendar reception until they cradle their BB7520s?
