In messages, when I go to options -> general settings, and I say "keep messages for" x days, does that apply to both email and SMS? What I'd like to have is that my emails are saved until I delete them and every thing else deleted after 15 days.

The Keep Messages setting applies to all message types. Your best work around is to manually delete old SMS messages. Open messages, press ALT+S to open the SMS inbox. Highlight the date line, press the scroll wheel, select Delete Prior.

FYI - All BlackBerry devices have a limited amount of storage space. At some point you will use up all the space. When this happens, the oldest messages will be automatically deleted regardless of the Keep Messages setting.

Cool, thanks. Does the blackberry store sms messages on the device or sim card (7105t t mobile)?

I actually keep my inbox clean... 20-30 messages max at any time. But I get sms all the time.
