Default Enterprise Activation stuck at 90% 8700v - 08-02-2006, 06:21 AM

Hi guys,

we are experiencing issues with the 8700v (4.1.0.258) upon enterprise activation as it will sit at 90% and will not move foward. The only work around we have found is to keep trying ie wipe hanheld and re-try activation.

Only happens on the 8700v models. we currently have the 7100v and all the varients from 7230 onwards. They are all fine on enterprise activation.

Has any one else had the same issues with the 8700v?

Our BES is (4.0.3.5)

Thanks in advance.

We have seen similar issues with various 8700 models. Called RIM and they recommended that we wipe the handheld prior to activation which has worked.

I've had a few cases of this. As a rule of thumb when I activate a new BlackBerry I first wipe it, then I perform a registration through the Host Routing Table before activation.
