Re: 8700g "TooManyThreadsError"

I have a tmobile (UK) 8700G

I regularly get the following error (every day or two).

"Uncaught exception
net.rim.vm.TooMannyThreadsError"

I know when the error is imminent as I find, when I get Calendar reminders and I select 'Open', it doesn't open. It seems to be linked to calendar reminders but no idea what is causing this.....

Any idea what could be causing it....

I have had this on both my previous and current replacement 8700.

And on several OS's including App Version 4.1.0.284 and 286

I have tried replacing the battery as a full reboot. I did it this morning yet got an error this afternoon.

Any ideas/pointers greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mik

Wirelessly posted (Cingular 7130c: BlackBerry7130/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Are you trying to open repeating calendar entries? It would be that they're repeating to often and it can't handle the amount.

The error is generally attributed to third-party applications. See What Is - JVM 200 - TooManyProcessesError.
