Same here. All updated without an issue. When the update was complete (the hourglass spun for 15 plus minutes), my corporate BES did its Enterprise Activation thing and all is well.

Default what is enterprise? - 03-07-2005, 09:11 PM

I recently downloaded 4.0 for my t-mobile 7230 and i now have something that says enterprise. Just wondering what it is and if it is worth it to set up. Is there a fee?

Thanks

I've been running it all day and have had no problems to report. Feels good to be using an OS by my own Service Provider for a change.

Are you all using BES 4.0 as well as the desktop 4.0 software?

I ask because I was wondering if I need to upgrade our BES software from the 3.6 version to the 4.0 version to use the new handheld and desktop 4.0 versions.

Has anyone looked at the email reconciliation bug that was in v3.8? For my coworker who has Lotus Notes as his only email service, the bug appears to be fixed. I have BWC and Exchange email services, and I have the same bug as before, where the email reconciliation option on the device keeps setting itself from Mailbox&handheld back to just handheld.

I am extremely happy about this release. We're well on the way of upgrading out user base. Has anyone encountered any problems with cingulars 7290 4.0 software yet? Everything seems to be working fine with ours so far. After a couple days of successful use we will probably upgrade the server from 3.6 to 4.0 and then upgrade the rest of our users. That way, we can perform their client upgrades and configure the wireless settings then, rather then upgrade them now and then go back again for the wireless settings after the server upgrade is done.
