This may be a silly question, but i am hoping someone can help me out. If i want to use the desktop manager software but want to disable the desktop redirector (so that i dont get message prompts at login), how would i go about it. i didnt see any sort of preferences to turn redirector off nor did it seem there was anyway to uninstall redirector. Thanks.

Reinstall the software and this time select BlackBerry Internet Service instead of BES or Redirector. This way there are no hooks into your local email client (which might require a password).
