Default Two questions

Please Login to Remove!

1. BlackBerry Password Keeper - Is there a way to back this up? I've noticed when I reset my BB I have to basically go in and recreate the entire thing Is this something that the Desktop Manager can backup?

2. BlackBerry Messenger - UIs there anyways to make this hook up with our current Sametime Server or is this BlackBerry specific? Ive also noticed when doing a wipe on your hand held you have to recreate your entire list of contacts.

No, BlackBerry Messenger is PIN messaging which is BlackBerry to BlackBerry. If you want Sametime you have to be using BES v4.1 or higher and install the Sametime client on the handheld.

Gotcha I didn't know you could install the Sametime client on a BB?

We have BES 4.1.

Any idea on the Password Keeper?

Also one more question does BB Have a real time client where you can change your settings without doing it on the BlackBerry itself?

Never tried backing it up but the advanced button on the backup/restore section brings up password keeper items on the right handside so I guess it would be possible!?

The Desktop Manager can backup the data. If you can't restore the entries (the option to transfer the entries is grayed out) , try going to my blog where I ran into this issue (sorry, haven't posted enough to post a URL)
