Okay bottom line is RIM planning on upgrading OS for 7290 Series? I've heard yes and no but wasn't sure. Ive download 4.2 Desktop Manager but the whole purpose "Media Manager" is pointless without an OS that supports 4.2

I'm thinking 4.2 is aimed at the BBs with 64MB... I believe (I haven't looked recently) that the 7290 has 32MB. I don't think (it's a guess) that you'll see a 4.2 for the 72xx series.

NJ is correct. The 7290 will not be receiving upgrades for the OS to 4.2.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
