The latest version of the HandHeld 4.0 OS (Package 274 -- Application Version 219) appears on the RIM site as of the last days or so and is NOT listed as BETA. I have installed it on my 7290 and I noticed that the Bluetooth Volume issue still exists as it did in the previous beta releases. That really sucks.

I have used a 7250 (1X) recently and it does not have the issue... I have read here that mobilehavoc downloaded the 274 package from Cingular and is claiming that his low volume issues have dissappeared now. I find this strange, but if anyone else concurs with that statement, I would love to know! I'm going to try that myself and see.

EDIT: After examining the downloaded file, I notice that the software and platform applications are exactly the same as the Rogers version. I don't think there's much point in re-installang the Cingular version. I doubt that there would be any difference in the volume, contrary to mobilehavoc's statement.
