Default Recurring appointments not synching - 10-24-2006, 01:04 AM

Apologies if this has been answered before, I have spent a few hours searching with no luck on this...

Using BES 4.1 with Exchange 2003 Blackberry 8700
I have a user having issues with changes to a re-occurring appointment that were originally setup in Outlook.

If he changes the re-occurrence on the blackberry the change doesn't update in Outlook.

If you setup a new calendar appointment with re-occurrence on the blackberry, any changes made from either outlook or blackberry flow thru.

Normal Calendar changes are working, its only re-occurrences that's an issue.

Any thoughts?

Hi

RIM has identified this issue as well... but for the moment there is no service pack for BES 4.1 available... Note that the same prob happens with BES 4.0 on Lotus Domino...

We use BES 4.1 but we have experienced that problem in 2006 October. Cause of problem was regional time differencess in our server. I remember, RIM has annonced this inform. If your user created their recurence meeting with bb in october, this problem can be appear depend on it. User must be delete and recreate the meeting for solution
