Default Service Provider Browser Question

Please Login to Remove!

I am running BB v4.0 on my 7510 NEXTEL handheld which is connected to a BES 3.x My company added an intranet browser a few months ago which I don't use. Now they have announced that all service provided browsers will be automatically removed which will force me to go through their browser which uses a the corporate proxy. My problem is that the proxy blocks Yahoo Mail which I can only access through my BB using the service provider's browser.

My question is how can I stop this from happening?

Will disabling any of the Browser Push options like MDS or WAP block this update?

It sounds like they are going to roll out an IT policy to disable certain features. If that is the case, you are out of luck. There is no way to stop it.
