Exclamation BES 4.0 to 4.1 upgrade

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

Our company are looking into uprgrading our BES 4.0 to 4.1. We link to Exchange 2003 and use models 7230, 8700, 8700g, 7100v and 7100x. Can anyone tell me what risks, problems that are involved with this upgrade??

Any help you can give will be much appreciated.

Mike.

Wirelessly posted (NXTL7520: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry7520/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103)

I just upgraded from 4.0 BES with 65 x 7520 devices to BES 4.1 easily w/o a single problem. However, I had one small issue with the "MDS" version where I had to install the MDS SSL cert for the Mgr to also open the stats pane.

The new ver is awesome!

Should be a simple upgrade if you're already on 4.0. I notice you have some 7230 devices which never shipped with 4.0 firmware on them, but I assume you already updated them to 4.0 when you installed the 4.0 BES so they can make use of the advanced attachment features. If not then update these devices.
