Default OS 4 Question and Help

Our system admin has 4.0 on the server now and all the handhelds are on 4.0 as well. He had us remove our desktop managers as well. But I dont understand how I will not be able to load apps as I hav eno app loader.

Also I am not sure how to sync now other than I know it does it wirelessly but seems a bit confusing to me. I am really more concerned about how to load apps with no apps loader.

Any ideas how this works?

Without desktop manager you can only load applications over the air (OTA) or via Javaloader.
