Default Email Re-direction disabled after porting of phone number...

Please Login to Remove!

I searched, and could not find a solution for this. I am going over to look at it now and hope it is a simple matter of re-enabling the redirection through the handheld software...but has anyone else come across this?

Not enough information to help; BES, Desktop Redirector or BWC? New BB or just a ported number? New SIM? What device and OS?

BES 4.0, OS 3.8...client ported his number recently and now emails are not being re-directed. Not a new blackberry, it has been active for several months now. New SIM carried over in the port. Desktop software is 3.6.

OS software is 3.8, not 4.0. Sorry

Device type? It matters.

Check on the client device to see what sort of network coverage they have. Are they gprs, GPRS, 1x, what?

Can the client send a PIN to PIN message. Has someone verified with the NEW carrier that the BlackBerry Data Plan has been properly added to the account?

gprs

It was working before. The data plan I mean. It does not have to be added again, does it?
