Question BIS and OWA Inbox syncing

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys,

I've searched numerous threads and haven't managed to find an answer.

My Outlook email from our comapny exchange server pushes well however I cant seem to be able to delete from BB and replicate on my outlook account on my desktop, is this possible? I use BIS.

Also should this work on my hotmail, yahoo accountts?

Thanks for your assistance, love the forum

if you are on BIS 2.0 you can integrate the owa and it will reconcile the reads and deletes. It seems it will also save items sent from your blackberry into your sent items on your outlook.

i got the information in the rim KB. articles 05133 and kb05129

hope this helps

I don't know if it will be this simple but you might want to check these settings. Go to your messages folder. Click the wheel and go to options >Email Reconciliation. For each Message Service ("Desktop" is your exchange mail which sounds like is working ok) make sure the "Delete On:" is set to "prompt" and "Wireless Reconcile:" is set to "On". Since you are on a BES for your corporate mail you also might be able to get a little help from your company's IT department.

I don't use Outlook anymore (except for corporate exchange mail) but my BIS accounts will only reconcile deletes, not reads (using GMail now). Maybe I'm doing something wrong too.
