2 things to try.
1) open intellisync, click configure pim, select contacts, click choose, make sure that synchronize is selected. If it is, then select one of the other options (import or export) click ok, then go back in and set to synchronize again.
2) open intellisync, click configure PIM, select contacts, click choose, select <none> click ok. Click the choose button again, set to MS Outlook (or whatever translator you were using) and set up any other options you had set.
after either (or both) of these, try another synchronize.
