Unhappy 7230 Please help with Software

Please Login to Remove!

Dear Members,

We will be getting a few 7230 with T-Mobile software. Our representatives will be using the BB's mostly as PDA's so Push/Email services are not required. Is there anyway to delete the T-Mobile software that is pre-loaded and install some other "neutral software" ? Our people will be using the BB's, as I stated earlier, as PDA's and for calling. They all use O2 cards ?

Are you referring to the branding that appears when you power the device on? If so, there is no way to remove that.

What type of "neutral software" are you looking for?

(P.S. using a BB as a PDA without push e-mail is not the best use of the device. The PDA functions are adequate, but nothing special).

Thank you NJBlackberry. For $100 for new equipment, it is not a bad deal. Therefore we decided to use it as a PDA. The start up logo is not the problem it is the general apperance that matters. But can one use a sim card that is not from t-mobile on a t-mobile BB
