Default About to go nuts with installation of Blackberry Desktop Manager

Please Login to Remove!

So, I have downloaded Desktop Manager 4.2 and installed it, everything was finished (or appeared to be) but the "next" button to finish the installation didn't appear. I waited and waited and waited...nothing, checked the CPU use and its a 0%...obviously the installation is not going to finish. I click "cancel" nothing, nothing, give up and stop the installation through the Task Manager. Yet, the program appears to be installed and operational so I start it, it works, but then completely fails to see my Blackberry which is connected (the Blackberry Device Managers says so), and I get an error message saying the device cannot be found. I reinstall the Device Manager thinking that the drivers must not have properly installed and then restart, and the Desktop Manager appears to be gone, but it isn't. I then try to uninstall the Desktop Manager software and it won't let be do it because I haven't "finished the installation process," I would've, but the installer screwed up! I'm sorry, but this is really really bothering me and I'm about to explode. What is going on? Why is the installer screwed up...it appears to just stall on the installation process near its finish. Please help, I'm running Windows XP so there should be no problems here.
