Sorta. Here's the deal. Up until now, I've been using my regular POP3 email on my blackberry. Works but all the spam that is filtered by Outlook on my desktop still arrives on the Blackberry since it's pulling from the server.

I signed up for the free trial of spam arrest and i like it as far as outlook and webmail goes, but I'm struggling with it on the Blackberry. Email comes in fine. You send to me at mayodev.com and it is pulled into my spamarrest.com inbox and the Blackberry downloads it into the spamarrest.com email that I have set up on my blackberry. When I compose a new email, I can specify which account to use, but when replying to mayodev emails that have been delivered to the spamarrest.com account, it defaults to sending from the spamarrest.com account and I don't see anywhere that I can change this. I can't continue using spam arrest, unless I can send from the bberry from the mayodev account. It needs to be totally transparent to my recipients whether I'm sending from outlook, webmail or the BB.

I asked spam arrest about it and they said to "Forward" the spam arrest mail to my sprint.blackberry.net address, but I still have the same issue of replies coming from the sprint.blackberry.net address instead of the mayodev address.

Overall, it seems to be OK if you send a new message as you can select the Send Using: account on the indiv email (though I wish I could default it to mayodev). The real problem seems to be in replying to messages. Since spamarrest pulls it from my maydoev account, it shows up in the blackberry with the following info:

Received Using: me at spamarrest.com
Message Status: Opened
To: me at mayodev.com

So when I click reply, it's using the Received Using field instead of the To: field.

Any thoughts?

Hi,
I'm new blackberry user. I'm using the BB 7290. And realised that i'm not able to find any options to configure my email settings. How do you do that ?
Also, isnt there any internet connection setup options ? Pls advice on what or how this can be done?
