Default Bb Messenger With Pay As You Go - Does Not Work??

Does anyone know why messenger will not work with a pay as you go account on a 8700G?

Carrier is Rogers Pay As You Go

Does the pay as you go have a BB data plan? They usually don't and that is usally why BB Messenger won't work. If you do have a BB data plan then short of deleting and reinstalling the app I couldn't tell you. It's ALWAYS worked on every BB I've ever loaded it on (which is many.) I've never had an issue with it.
