hi all im new to this site but i have a 7520 nextel and all of my programs are gone for no reason even the operating system the guy from nextel support told me to reinstall the software now i could see my home screen before i tried to do it but now it has erased everything and when i power it up it does not give me the home screen it gives me a circle with a box in it with (507) under the box can someone please tell me what i need to do to get this thing back to its normal state because the people at nextel are not helping.

Hello and welcome. Follow these steps please:


1) Download the latest version of the 7520 Handheld Operating system from the Nexttel BlackBerry support web site. Look here for it - https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...B9D5EE16489088

2) Execute the program you just downloaded

3) Restart Desktop Manager - it should load now.

A "507" means no operating syste (or programs or data). I hope you had a backup of your data

ok i did all the javaloading and all was going well but now it tells me that it could not communicate with the radio any info on how to resolve this?

If you are having radio problems you may have to call Nextel and ask to speak to their data/BlackBerry department.

ok by me not having my desktop software finding my radio for my phone and i cant get the phone to charge so do anyone have any info on a way to get my battery to charge without my os loading or does the phone still suppose to charge without the os being installed,or do you think its a bad battery but it was fine before this all happened
