Default Error 348 - BB 8703e - 01-14-2007, 10:25 PM

G'day. Hoping I can get some help with my 8703e.

Prior to recieving the error message, I had the phone on my desk, however there was a book laying on it- pressing a few keys. I only remembered this after the fact, hopefully it's not important.

I picked the phone up, and it was rebooting, afterwards, it showed up with a screen 'Error 348', and only one choice 'Reboot'.

Naturally- after perusing the web, I've found the issue deals with the operating system. I attempted numerous reinstall methods, including the one at PinStack,

blackberryforums.pinstack.com/5178-how_reinstall_os_when_computer_wont.html

Of course, it's not working. My phone fails to reconnect at the 'JVE Reconnection' stage of the installation- and the whole installer fails.

I'm nearly to the point of chucking it through the window, I've tried numerous permuations of this guide, and reinstalling- and it's just not working.

Anything will be a huge help.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Download a copy of JL_CMDER and use it via USB to wipe the device. Then use the Desktop Manager to try and reload the OS via the App Loader.
