Default APN settings - 01-16-2007, 06:12 PM

I currently have a 8700c thru cingular and just downloaded Yak-On. When I try to connect it says "Please check your Access Point Node Settings in Options->TCP on my device." Problem is when I got to Options there is no TCP option.

Anyone know what to do?

Thanks for the reply. When I go to Options there is no 'Advanced' option.

Select Options from the home screen on the 8700. There is no Advanced or TCP option there?

Not sure what theme you are using, so this is a guess, but from the Cingular theme on my 8700g it is this: On the main screen go to Settings, then on next screen pick Options, then next screen Advanced Options, then you should see the TCP option. Go in there, and that is where you can enter the APN, which is

APN: wap.cingular
USER: [email address]
pWORD: CINGULAR1

Not sure if you need the username and password for it to work, you can try it with just entering wap.cingular in the APN field and see.

Any different settings via the 8800, or would I use these within the application under "Advanced Connection Parameters".
