Question User Name Issue - 01-22-2007, 07:58 PM

G’Day All,
I administer a Windows 2003 domain and have an Exchange 2003. Recently I had to change a users name due to staff changes. The email address stayed the same and the old users account on my BES 4 server was deleted.

When the new user sends an email using Outlook it’s received with her name shown as the sender. When she sends an email with her BlackBerry 8700g, it’s received as the old user.

I have once again completely deleted her account on the BES server and told the system not to store any details. I’ve also Nuked the handset and reinstalled it's software. This has had no affect what so ever and when she sends an email using her BlackBerry is still comes up as the pervious name.

The only thing I can think of is that there may be something lingering in the MSSQL BES database.

Any suggestions please as the person involved is a director of marketing and need her name displayed and not her predecessors.

Many Thanks and have a great 2007, Steve
