Default error: cant send email?? - 01-22-2007, 10:46 PM

when I go to compose email, I get the error "no messaging services configured. You will only be able to save draft"

What does this mean? (sorry for the noobish question, had this device for all of 6 hours so far! (and had NO manual!))

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Do you have a BB plan with your provider so that you can email and browse the web?

If you have the data plan you'll need to use the "setup internet email" icon on the BB to setup your email account.

well, yes and no... I'm with Boost Mobile, so I have unlimited Data access (I installed OperaMini and can surf the web, and sharkmodem and can use the BB as a cell modem) but...?

and the closet thing I have to setup email is "enterprise activation" no setup web email icon...

Aston,
All your questions/problems you've posted all over the forums, lead back to one answer. You do not have a "Blackberry Data Plan" with your provider Boost Mobile.

Can I even use the BB Redirector software? or does it require a BB dataplan too?

It requires a BB Data Plan.
