Default What software to download for a used 7290 - 01-29-2007, 09:40 AM

No idea what to do! on the blackberry website there are many versions avail. My obvious guess is to download the most recent version. Please send me links if you can on all what I need to download on my computer to sync it all together.

What I want to do with my blackberry:

mostly contact lists...instead of having a palm pilot in addition to my phone
e-mail

How do I insert all my phone numbers and contact info in my computer and then transfer it to my blackberry? It seems too painful to enter it all directly on my blackberry.

To synchronize your contacts to your BlackBerry you will need to download and install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software. The latest version will work fine.

laura,

Go here for some 101 tutorials - BlackBerry - Welcome To BlackBerry101

Once you install the software, it will be fairly easy for you to figure out how to sync. Someone else might post a tutorial on how to use the desktop software if you get stuck, but I think you'll figure it out. Come back and ask if you don't find what you are looking for by seaching

Welcome and best of luck!
