Talking Hello a few question from a newbee... - 01-30-2007, 09:25 AM

Hello I just wanted to know if i sould install the BlackBerryOS first or the BlackBerry Desktop first?

What are the to things?
OS = THEE BB OS
Desktop = software for XP to load things onto BB
?? I think I understand that right?

And this is the funny question that most newbee's make..
What makes the BB shut off when its in it holster? I need to know this has got me and i can't let it go what does it and don't say magic "dust" or any of that mobo jmbo...

Thanks to all that take the time to read this and to all that don't you missed out...

You should install the BB desktop manager first since that will install drivers to recognize you BB device. Next install the os package onto your pc. When you sync it should upgrade the os on your bb device. I think you have to go into the application loader for the software to realize there is an upgrade.

THe bb os is the os of your bb device. The DM is the bb destop manager for your pc.

Deleting unused apps and languages will save you memory.

While on the TMO website, if you get that "disabled" or "site overloaded" error, hit refresh on your browser a few times, patiently, and you should get to the OS download.

Jeronimo, you've double posted this same question elsewhere on the board.

The answer is you can't. You don't have internet on your bb, you said.
