I just received a pearl and installed the Desktop software from the CD that came with the machine. I got a err message Error 1904.module c:program filles\research in motion\blackberry\transcation manager\ptbs.dll failed to register. HRESULT- 2147352567 contact your support personal. I kept trying to do a retry that did not work so I did a skip and the software will not work for me.

I am using the software in conjunction with campionlink because I use Goldmine. version 4.1 worked great and has been with my 7130e. I am only running into problems with the new pearl

I went to the blackberry web site and downloased the 4.2 with service pack 1 got the same message.

Version 4.1 which I was using for my 7130e u4.10 was working great. but that software will not work on the pearl. so I tried to install both using different directories the new version of desktop erase the 4.1 even though it was in a different directory.
Dow any one have any ideas?
