Angry Steps to add 8800 on BES

Please Login to Remove!

My IT guy is making it seem like supporting a new BB model is very time consuming and he does not have the time to do it. My company currently supports the 7100 and the 8700. When I asked him what particually he had to do, he stated that it was none of my buisness. Can somebody post the steps needed to add the 8800 to BES and the amount of time it takes? I would like to be informed at our next meeting.

Thanks

Default

BES 4.0 and above.

they will remove you and readd you to the manager. then send you an activation email.

you then activate it on your BB youself.

Prior to BES 4.0 you have to manually activate it at the server.

He may not want to manually activate it or he doesnt want to support a new device that has not been tested in your company.
