Thumbs up Blackberry 6280-Missing Phone icon

Please Login to Remove!

I recently purcahsed a second hand 6280. The orginal S/w allowed me to make & recive calls from Blackberry on T-mobile network. However I recived a S/w Upgrade CD & implemented this, resulting in me losing my phone function. I am a bit of a novice so if some one out there could help me to restore this function it would be greatly appreciated.

There may be an IT Policy in this S/W.My dad has a 7230 and they have a IT Policy so the Phone Module isn't installed.Do a search for Javaloader and that should fix it.

Why is it that BlackBerry's are Black,They Should be blue.

Hi Nik - pierre is well meaning but off the mark here.

When you upgraded the software, all of the "check boxes" next to the applications were not checked off.

Open Desktop Manager and start the Application Loader. Make sure all of the check boxes are checked off - I'd bet that the Phone option is not checked. It will load the phone software and then reset the BB.

Give that a shot.
